About
Welcome to “coding (the life)”, I am Marvin Marcelo and this is my personal site. I write anything here that interests me, its mostly about what I do – code, code, and code (programming). Debugging is where I measure my skill compare to the original programmer, but that’s only half of the projects / tasks I held, the other half is I did by myself which means I’m comparing myself vs. myself months or year ago. And to be honest, I laugh at my own work
. But its all good, I know I’m not going from better to worse.
But there are times I don’t do programming at all, that means I got tired or just don’t want to be in front of a computer. I’m hoping to have a week long vacation, or couple of days at least, without a machine around me, but I’m not sure if that is ever possible. Mobile phones today like the one I have is almost like a computer, and it has internet connection too. So I thought, forget about avoiding machine (computing devices) if I get a vacation, just enjoy with it.
This is mostly a document of how I go about my everyday programming life, some personal stuff too. At night, I try to get at least 6 hours straight unconscious sleep. Unconscious in a sense that I don’t stare at the ceiling thinking how to overcome a logic I got stuck into the entire day, at times, its the trial-and-error approach I’m going to do next. Yes, I ran out of options at that point, which I think is the common pitfall of average programmer. But its all part of the fun, without that I’d probably looking for another company / client in the next couple of months, which is not good in my career record. I thank Bernadette for continually reminding me that.

I’ve know Marvin for two years already. He is one of those people here at SOS that proves to me that he is not just a good programmer but also a good friend. He taught me a lot already on so many different aspects of web and the internet. Thank you bro.
