The next morning of April 8, while having a coffee in the terrace of Dedette’s Aunt’s ancestral house, we found this very old cash register covered only with vinyl scrapped sheets in the corner.
First glance at it, it seems to have a dust-finish, LOL! Seem worthless. Then I asked her to take pictures.
At home, I thought I google about it. And voila!!! On top of the search took me to http://www.cashregisterman.com/antique.htm, its the National Cash Register Model 7. Its worth 3500usd, fully restored!
They differ on the engraving “City Drug Store” on the breastplate and the backplate, and of course, its fully restored. And that platform on top of the drawer seems a customization too. Been thinking of restoring it myself, but I don’t think on the full level, external maybe. And maybe, I contact cashregisterman for a deal, hehehe! To do that, I’d have to convince Dedette to convince her Aunt to a profitable disposal
