World War II: The Battle of Bataan/Bataan Death March – United States forces surrender on the Bataan Peninsula. The Japanese Navy launches an air raid on Trincomalee in Ceylon (Sri Lanka); Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Hermes and Royal Australian Navy Destroyer HMAS Vampire are sunk off the island’s east coast.

DTI#9170 Text Scam, I got the same today

Early this morning, I received this message from an unknown number saying I won half a million pesos and a cellphone. Wow! See what technology can do these days, without joining a raffle you get to win huge prices! LOL!

It was quite annoying cause I received 3 just before 8 a.m. So I googled and guess what, this PCCNS DTI blahblah has been going around since November of 2007.

Petty scammers! Hmmmm, they’ve been doing this for nearly 2 years? Impressive eh!

Seriously, government needs to advance their system at least to track down people behind this.
