A wonderful message I didn’t want to receive

LOL, I stumble into this message while I was cleaning up my inbox. Dated somewhere back in Aug 6, 2008 at 9:13 PM

Hey Marvin,

Great Job on restoring the email to my??????.com. Not only are you great at your job, but you do an excellent job of solving problems that aren’t even part of your normal job description!!!
You have no idea how many people have tried and failed to fix our email problem(s) with my??????.com going back all the way to last year. Anyway… JOB WELL DONE!!! That will be worth a bonus.

Cheers…xxxx

A couple months past, then I decided to leave the team, bonus didn’t come out.

Photo editing job

A year and a day before today, was my first day working with a team of 2 designers (Paul, standing on far right and Julius, the other guy next to his right) and another programmer (David, standing first from the left – was working offshore), really cool people. I can still clearly remember the first day I went to the office working alone. Though on the next day, I still worked alone, and the day after that, and the next day after the next day after that, and so on, for about a month, I worked on a more than 50 sqm office by myself. Ah, I forgot I have an officemate, only that he worked reverse hours with mine. Then somewhere in late november, I saw a tough looking guy pierced on his eyebrow and his lower lip working alone in the office when I came in, that was Paul. Few months later, somewhere in Feb of 2008, this picture is how the team looked like.

I was thinking what title to use in this post, its midnight of Saturday Oct. 4, after an entire day of reviewing and enhancing the code I wrote, I looked at my AOL photos and thought I’d put this one in my blog and something I can add up.

Ok, if you happen to know me, you definitly can relate. This is the list I thought to use as the title, and it goes on…

Until I look each and everyone in the photo, I realized, if I could exclude one person in there, then this photo is cool enough! That came the title “photo editing” instead, LOL!
